LCMS West has been very blessed and we are always wanting to give back to others. During the month of December we are giving to our military overseas and veterans by collecting items for care packages. We are asking for dried fruit, hard candy, individual packs of hot chocolate and water flavors, beef jerky, and granola/protein bars. Please send in items to the media center by November 30.

We are also collecting coins for our school's custodial and lunchroom staff to show our appreciation for all they do each day for our students. All donations are due by December 12. Homeroom teachers have collection jars set up in their rooms. Thanks for your support.

Band and Chorus Concerts

LCMS West band and chrorus have been working very hard preparing for various concerts and events. To show off their talents, the chorus will have a concert on Tuesday, December 5 at 7:00 (held at Twin Oaks Elementary) and the band will have a concert on Thursday, December 14 at 7:00 (held at LCMSW gym). Please plan to come support these talented singers and musicians.

Needs Assessment Survey

As participants involved in this assessment process, you will become aware that there are issues that create barriers for homeless children and youth in our school environment.   The Homeless Liaison will compile the results from this survey and make every effort to address the identified needs when working with homeless children and youth.  Policies and procedures addressing these identified needs will be put into practice which will then be followed as instructed by the laws of the McKinney- Vento Homeless Education Act.  The most frequently occurring needs that appear on the surveys should support major contributors that Lee County Schools already recognizes as barriers for low school success.  Thank you for your input and click here to complete survey.
