The school choice window for 2015-16 school year will open March 2-March 13, 2015. School choice election must be completed annually. Parents who would prefer to send their child to a school other than their zoned school must complete the "Transfer Request Form". These forms are available at your child's current school. Request for transfers will not be accepted after 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015. Parents making a school choice election are responsible for transportation to and from the out of zoned school.

Georgia is implementing a new end-of-year assessments. No longer will students be taking the CRCT. Instead, they will be taking the Georgia Milestones Assessment. A more rigorous test, it requires depth of knowledge and critical thinking skills. Additional information regarding the test will be sent home at a later date. Yearbooks are now on sale and will continue to be sold through April 17. Students are encouraged to place their orders online to take advantage of exclusive online offers. Be sure to select LCMS West when ordering. Students may also submit appropriate photos to be considered for inclusion in the yearbook at http://images.jostens.com/upload.jsp.

Any parent or guardian wishing to volunteer or chaperone at LCMSW must complete a background check with the Lee County Sheriff's Department. Click here to access the form. This form and a copy of your driver's license may be turned in to Mandy Knight (LCMSW Front Office) or to the Lee County Sheriff's Department. Background must be renewed annually.
Lee County Middle School West welcomes and appreciates parent involvement in the education of our students. We also like to maintain a focused learning environment. For this reason, parents wishing to observe a classroom need to fill out this attachment and agree to abide by the regulations specified on the form.
LCMS West would like to The Ink Spot for supporting our school by becoming a Partner in Excellence. The Ink Spot is a locally owned shop in Leesburg that specializes in screen printing and embroidery.
