Mrs. Stephanie Moore

Mrs. Stephanie A. Moore is a teacher at Kinchafoonee Primary School with 26 years of experience.  She has taught First Grade for 24 years in Lee County. She earned a B.S. Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern State University, a M.Ed. in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University, and an ED.S. Early Childhood from Georgia Southwestern State University.

Mrs. Moore has been married to Chip for 31 years. They have a 24 year old son, Chad and a 22 year old daughter Mellanie.  Mrs. Moore, her husband and children are all Lee County High School graduates.

Mrs. Moore believes in having a simple class motto for her students to reflect on each day.  The motto for her classroom is “Be Kind, Be Kind, Be Kind”. She hopes her students will remember these six little words long after they have left her First Grade classroom.  Kindness is an important character trait that benefits everyone throughout his or her life. By reciting the motto each day, it hopefully becomes part of their everyday thinking.

KPS is proud to announce Mrs. Moore as Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020!
