Here at Twin Oaks, your child should expect to learn the skills, rules, regulations, history, and game strategies to many different types of individual and team type sports, games, dance, and activities. Good sportsmanship and teamwork are valuable ingredients that make our P.E. program such a wonderful success each year.

In order for your child to have a safe and productive learning environment, our school wide discipline plan will be enforced.

Grading & Expectations

Grading is based on participation and appropriate dress (shoes)

On days that your child has P.E., please make sure that he/she wears a tennis shoe that will be conducive to wear on our gym floor and one that will provide support during athletic activities. If your child chooses to wear a dress or a skirt to school, please have them wear shorts underneath on P.E. days.

Students will be graded on the S, NI, & U scale.
( S-Satisfactory, NI-Needs Improvement, U-Unacceptable)

We ask that your child bring a note signed by their parent/guardian or doctor if he/she cannot participate due to illness or injury.

The 7 Mindsets are taught and encouraged.

Your child is expected to follow the school wide rules while in the Gym:

Show Respect
Take Responsibility
Always Safe and
Ready
